Creative Journey
Alberta discovered her passion for crochet at the age of nine. From an early age, she developed not only a love for creating with her hands, but also an entrepreneurial spirit. Her creativity continued to grow through her enjoyment of both crocheting and knitting, along with her passion for designing and creating new garments.
Christine, Alberta's daughter, developed her own passion for fashion at an early age, aspiring to become a fashion designer. In 2016, Christine began her crochet journey by creating cultural-inspired bikinis, combining her love for fashion with handmade craftsmanship. Over the years, her creativity evolved into designing wearable garments and accessories for every season.
Together, mother and daughter joined their talents, creativity, and love for handmade fashion to create The Yarn Couture. Their combined passion for crochet, knitting, and garment design allows them to create unique pieces that celebrate individuality, creativity, and the artistry of handmade fashion.
What began as individual creative journeys became a shared vision—wearable art made with purpose, passion, and craftsmanship.
